Shelter Waqf
Fight against homelessnessIn light of the instability and difficult living conditions in Syria, especially for the internally displaced people a humanitarian imbalance happened that led to catastrophic results at all levels, especially for orphans, widows, and the elderly.
In response to this crisis, many relief organisations work hard to provide humanitarian aid such as food, water, medical aid, and tents. These projects are very important but they are not sustainable and cannot meet the need of people who are suffering for years.
At Nour Al-Sham, we have launched shelter waqf to create sustainable and complete home shelters which will benefit displaced families and many orphans in the north of Syria.
Our Goals:
Our goal is to provide shelters for displaced families and for those who live in very difficult conditions specially orphans in the north of Syria through our shelter waqf. Over 250 families will benefit from our shelter waqf and will get a proper place to live and protect them from harsh weather.
Shelter Waqf Consists of
- Home shelter.
- Building two schools.
- Building one Mosque.
- Mini-supermarket.
- Energy/Power suppliers.
- Four Small playground gardens.
Estimated Project Cost:
Shelter waqf is estimated at £2,500,000 to create this project. You can contribute £100 for a share of waqf (endowment) as Sadaqa Jariyah and earn ongoing rewards.
Together, we can make shelter waqf a reality.
